Link domain
Connect a subdomain you own, like go.yourbrand.com.
Your links live on a subdomain you own, like go.yourbrand.com. Each app has one link domain, and links
can be created once it's live.
Use a subdomain, not your root domain: go.yourbrand.com, not yourbrand.com. Wildcards and Dropp's own domains aren't allowed.
Add your domain#
Add it in Dropplink
Go to Settings → Link domain, enter the subdomain and choose Add domain. Only the brand owner or an admin can do this.
Add the CNAME record
At your DNS provider, add the record Dropplink shows: Type
CNAME, Name your subdomain's label (forgo.yourbrand.com, that'sgo; some providers want the full name), and Target exactly as shown in the dashboard.Wait for it to go live
Dropplink checks every minute for the first hour, then hourly, and issues the certificate for you. Most domains go live 1–5 minutes after the record is added. You can keep the page open: it updates itself.
Using Cloudflare for your DNS?
Turn proxying off (grey cloud) for this record. A proxied record hides the CNAME, and verification never finishes.

Removing a domain#
Remove shows how many links and clicks in the last 30 days will stop working before you confirm. Every link on the domain stops working immediately. To move to a new domain, remove the old one and add the new one; your links keep their codes and get the new host.
